If there is a God, where is He or She?

"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of Man, of a God in their own image.

Though God made Man in His own image, Man is anything but of God's image.

Is God deluding Himself to think that He can create anyone like Himself, or is there no such God?

If God created Man in His own image, where are these men and women?

Perhaps God is like all men and women.

He is sometimes good, and sometimes bad.

He sometimes loves and sometimes doesn't.

Sometimes he gives, but oftentimes He takes and even kills to take.

Tells the truth only when it suits Him, otherwise only lies comes out of His mouth.

He may have even died, and it is His great great great grandson who sits on His throne today.

Perhaps He has abdicated, or was a victim of a coup d'é·tat.

If God is the image of Man, we all can see God in each other.

And life in heaven must be like it is on earth. His will is being done on earth as it is in heaven.

The most powerful nation on earth must represent the most revered domain of heaven, and the palace and throne room of God in heaven represent the White House and the Oval Office, where all the holy angels serve Him.

The Pope in the Vatican must represent Jesus in one of His Father's many mansions.

Israel must represent the heavenly domain of God's chosen who crucified His only heir, asked His Father to forgive them to keep their strategic interest in the middle of hell to fight evil.

China must represent the emerging evil force that is threatening God's almighty status.

Global warming must represent the over heating of heaven by God's greed.

Science and technology must represent God's wisdom and power to overcome any problems caused by His own incompetence and to declare His invincibility.

Poverty and disease must represent God's holiness, for riches and vitality is unholy.

And since God helps those who help themselves, lying, cheating, stealing, raping and murdering is rampant as many are helping themselves to satisfy their needs.

Scriptures and parables must represent the law for the children of God, not for Gods who are above any law.

If God's character is like the character of Jesus, then it seems there really is no one who has been made in the image of God, but Jesus.

So why would a character like Jesus lie?

Or are we missing an important aspect of God, that though we are made in the likeness of Jesus, we are unable to be like Jesus. Jesus said,

"Not My will, but Your will be done."

Jesus showed that God has a will, and that His will is free, and He freely gave up His power and did not take the law into His own hands and let Man crucify Him.

Man has a will, and he is free to act as he wills. That is God's will.

God is also a God of faith, that is to say, God is not a 'yes man', nor does He subscribe to creeps like Man does in the world.

Therefore God is not visible to the eye and audible to the ear, but perceivable by the heart (egoless soul). Creeping is of the serpent, so God is absent on earth.

If you only will to do like Jesus in the presence of God, then your will is to be a 'yes man'.

But God hates creeps, and said to the serpent,

"you are cursed more than every beast of the field." Gen. 3:14

God made Man in His own image, Free Will to be or not be like Him.

The world is hierarchical, and Jesus said,

"I am not of this world."

"I and My Father are One, and I have called you brothers."

Heaven is a HOLY COMMUNION, not anything like earthly democracies and monarchies.

But the world hates communism (none of man's attempts on communism have been anything like God's communism, nor have they been anything like Karl Marx's theory; except perhaps Mahatma Gandhi).

So Jesus said,

"if the world hates you, know that it hated Me before you."

"if you have seen Me, you have see the Father."

Jesus, the express image (CHARACTER) of God.

So take up your cross, and follow after Jesus, and you will be the image of God.

Think of Jesus' Character, think about it all the time, then you can begin to act in like manner at all times. You know His Character, and the reason you know His Character is because you are a seedling of that Character.

You are a Spirit, a Character. A Character is known by his Attitude, not by his appearance. Character is not a physical entity. However, it can occupy a physical body, and bring to fruition it's personality. And being a seedling of the Highest Spirit with free will, you are Free to develop your Spirit (Character) to it's highest potential, or develop it to the level you want and become the person you want be, before your physical body returns to dust.

What happens to the body is not important, but what happens to the spirit. If the spirit returns to the spirit realm when the body dies, it can only exist in a spiritual sphere of that personality, a province of an infinite realm.

To exist in the entire spiritual realm, the infinite, one must develop one's spirit (character) to the stratum of the spirit-character of the eternal personality-God.

Can a peasant dwell with the king, unless he be like a prince?

In the physical world, we promote equal rights for all to education and to hold the highest office in the land. In the spiritual world, God gives all free spirits the right to develop their spirit-character to that of Jesus' character to enter the highest realm of His Kingdom.

"My kingdom is not of this world."

"I have come so that they may have life, and have it more abundantly."

"If you want to have eternal life, come follow Me."

"For to which of the angels did He ever say, 'You are My Son'."

So, our purpose here in the physical realm is to develop our spirit-character and prepare ourselves for life eternal. Not so much to develop our ability to live in physical comfort, and or satisfy our carnal desires, for a short time. However, the choice is ours to make.

No one knows what life is, for life is not what we created, which is consciousness (self awareness).

What we become aware of are all what we see, hear, taste, smell and feel with our senses. Our ability to be aware comes from the Source of awareness, and we are always connected to the Source, even if we are unaware of it. And most are unaware of it, and wholly aware of themselves. Therefore, for them, their life is their awareness of themselves (ego) and, what they become aware of through their senses. With their senses they are aware of the physical world, and with their intellect they make sense of them accordingly and make judgements of them, and take action. That is life or living for them.

True life is becoming aware of our Source of awareness. That is the 'inner being', the greater self, the supper ego.

The world is advancing full speed ahead on a ego trip, and are becoming more and more aware of the lesser awareness (ego) and are losing the connection to the greater awareness (supper ego). So when the body dies, they have no home to go to, because the only home that exists is the Great Awareness, the Source of All awarenesses.

All living things on earth are connected through air and water, the source of All physical life on earth, and if we pollute the air and contaminate the water, which planet can we migrate to do the same again?

If we pollute our ego with pride and destroy our Source of our awareness, we would cut off our lifeline. The body will return home to earth, and the spirit will become homeless.

The beginning of our life (awareness) is recognizing our Source, which requires humility; for the Source is infinitely greater than our self-awareness. But if we humbly grow in awareness of It (become conscious of It), (come to know with it), we begin to transform into an awareness like the Source, and find our WAY home. A dwelling place of unblemished egos-spirits, Characters.

To be conscious means to 'know with'. To know with the TRUTH of the Source of our Consciousness is to understand the root of our being. So we can build our Character from the foundation of our awareness, the root of our Consciousness, the Conscience of the Source.

To 'know with' the Conscience of the Source of our ability to be Conscious, is to remain Conscious beyond the physical realm.

"I AM the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE." The Root of Jesse. Isa. 11:10

Cost of living has been going up ever since man put a price on living. The more you want to live, the more you have to pay for it, and the more you pay for living, the more you live to work. Weather you live to work or work to live, life is work or work is life.

Only if life had no price, will life be truly free. Whoever has life, can afford the life he has, and whoever cannot afford the life he wants, is not having life but, dreaming of life. And most people are dreaming of life, and working for their dream. Aptly labeled the American Dream. If they were to wake up from their dream, their life would come to an abrupt end.

What is life, and what is living?

Life is consciousness, or awareness. Then living is what one does with one's awareness. When we look at the natural world, we see livings things and nonliving things doing what they do with their awareness, and their unawareness respectively. Most of what plants do, and a lot of what animals do, and everything the elements do, they do unconsciously. Until recent times, even Man did most of what he did unconsciously.

When Man began 'civilizing' he began to do what he did more consciously. This is what is meant in Genesis 3:22, "Behold, the Man has become like One of Us, knowing good and bad." Man began to be conscious like God, and do unlike nature, and life for Man changed from natural to unnatural (unconsciously to consciously). Life became work. He had to leave the natural world, and work with the sweat of his brow to live, because he wanted to be like God. But until Man knows like God, Man will not live like God, but work to be like God. This is the price Man has to pay until he knows like God. The cost of living is forever going up, because the more Man knows, the more he knows how much more there is to know. The limited time each one of us are given to come to know with God is more than enough to know and understand our purpose–God. Even if any of us live a million years, none of us will ever know and understand the works of nature (God's creation) unless we know and understand the mind of God. No animal on earth will ever know and understand the works of Man, but they do know and understand the nature of Man: utterly destructive in his creativity, and is destroying them and nature (God's creation) in his quest to be like God without really knowing like God. The price every living thing on earth has to pay for Man's arrogance, for he has been given power to to know and understand the Mind of God, and thinks he knows like God.

So Buddha counted the cost of His living, and gave up everything and returned to nature and sat under a tree, when He had come to understand the Mind of God; and the Mind of God is nailed to a tree by many, for they find it too costly to follow God.

So the Mind of God spoke out:

"For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it_"

"For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?"

When you know like God, you don't need to be here. When you know like the teacher, you don't need to be at school, except to teach.

"But you, do not be called 'Rabbi'; for one is your teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren." Matt.23:8


Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked,

“Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?”



“Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”



“Which ones?” he inquired.
   


Jesus replied, “‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’”
 


“ALL THESE I HAVE KEPT,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?”



Jesus answered, “If you want to be PERFECT, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
  


When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth. 
Matt. 19:16-22



There is nothing wrong in being rich, and many rich do help out with their money; and there is nothing good in being poor either. But this is about reaching spiritual enlightenment, and for that we have to give up everything of the world, and that is not just money, because the spiritual world is not in this world, and is nothing like this world. 


So Buddha gave up what was of this world, and Jesus gave up his carpentry and his life in this world to go back to the spirit world. "Father, into your hands I commit My spirit." Luke 23:46


It is difficult to give up following the world, because that is like dying, but the seed has to die to grow into a tree.

Even Jesus prayed, 


"O Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from Me." Matt.26:39

Is Jesus and Krishana the Same Religion? 


Ro and Mo:

A Bushman from Africa and a king from India are both human and are of the same species and therefore have the same human spirit. They are both aware of a greater spirit (God) than themselves, though one may worship the Sun and the other, Krishna. And since they are of the same species and spirit, the greater spirit they believe in, have the same quality.


The word Religion means: the belief in and worship of a superhuman power-a greater spirit than our own. And in every nook of the globe peoples have developed ways in which to relate to this greater spirit. So we have many religions in the world, all trying to explain the same God.


But traditions and customs have greatly influenced the way religions are practiced, but they have no relation to the greater spirit, and greatly hinder our progress in understanding and pursuing our greater spirit.


Jesus said that we worry about our customs and traditions, and forsake what we really need to worry about.


We don't know much about Hindu religion but, perhaps know a little about Muslim religion, and a little more about Buddhist religion, and a lot about the religions that have emerged through the (Bible). 
Jesus didn't talk about a religion, but about God, whom He called the Father, with whom He said he was One with, and called us brothers and and sisters, and told us to be one with each other, i.e.. to love one another as He loved us.


So we think LOVE is the greater spirit that we need to understand and pursue, without which we will always be divided and never achieve peace-Heaven.


Yes, God is the same in all religions, but are we all going to act the same, when we are all given the free spirit to choose to act as each one of us will? So Jesus said, "I came to do the will of God, not My own will." And the Jews had Him crucified. And God allowed them to carry to their will on His son. What would God allow nature, or another man, or even an animal to do what they will on you, to perfect you? 
Most Buddhists in Sri Lanka work hard to have what Buddha gave up to become enlightened. So it seems that this makes most of them benighted.


And Jesus said, 'give up all we have', and that 'we cannot serve God and money', and 'it is easier for a camel to go through an eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven'. But most of the rich nations in the world are 'Christian', and work hard for their money.

So it is written: 


" 'These people draw near to Me with their mouth, 
And honor Me with their lips, 
But their heart is far from me. 
And in vain they worship Me, 
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.' "Matt. 15:8-9 
"You are of this world, I am not of this world." John 8:23 
Many are overwhelmed by the world, and conform to the world! 
"But be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." John 16:33 


Religion is about serving someone Higher than self. 


God is about Love, and loving another is not serving, but caring, sharing and nurturing another as an equal. So Jesus said, "I and My Father are One." And "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends." John 15:13 


That is being like God. And everybody knows this truth, but most are looking after No. 1. That is why religions are popular in this modern world, because, religion talks about No.One and Two and so forth, and the more money one has the higher one's No. and more services one has, which makes one feel like God. Thus the world is working hard to be like God.


But, "they have not known My ways." Psalm 95:10

How does the perfection take place? How did Jesus death perfect us? or are you saying that the lessons in life perfect us?

Good question Betty!


Most Christians are taught to believe that, to be 'saved', one only has to to be baptized in the name of Father, Son and The Holy Spirit, and to say that one believe in Jesus.

This is true in one way, but it is also confusing.

The word 'saved' also is misleading, because, it sounds like you have already fallen.

And this is also true in a way.

So, everything is confusing!


It is true if one is born to a great king, that one day he will be king. He only has to say that he believes in his fathers kingdom and accept his right to become king, and he will be king. But unless he learns to govern like his father, he will surely lose his kingdom. And a good father will do everything possible to teach his son to do like him or even better, and send him to the best tutors he can find.


So God sends us to the best tutors, and they may come as our fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters, and pets and school teachers and work mates, bosses and husbands and wives and children and strangers, muggers, rapists. Everything and everyone you come in contact, or hear about, has something to teach you. God knows whom he has created, and for what purpose, and accordingly he gives them location, race, parents or no parents, and so on to teach them what they need to learn to be what God has made them for. And everyone is important, for God is important.

But one thing is for sure, God doesn't force any of us to learn, but forcefully sends us lessons. And we can also forcefully reject them or forcefully accept them. And as we accept them or not, even greater lessons are sent, and if we carry our 'cross' and follow in Jesuss' foot steps, we will experience how he felt and understand what he knew."


But Jesus said. “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.  If you were of the world, the world would love its own.


Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. 
Remember the word that I said to you,

‘A servant is not greater than his master.’


If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.
 But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me." John 15:18-21



So the perfection takes place, stage by stage, as we do what Jesus would do given the very situation we find ourselves in at any given time, and so the lessons in life gradually perfects us.



In His first sermon on the mount, Jesus tells us how to be, act, and what to say during our life in the world. Matt. 5,6,7.


This is what we understand Betty, and hope you understand what you need to understand, and that all understand God's purpose for each one of us. So we will all experience true love (heaven).


Jesus gives light to everyone who comes into the world. John 1:9


To show everyone the Way, the Truth and the Life.


So the Way of Life is being Truthful to self and others, even if you will be crucified for it.

But to give the other cheek (be Children of the Most High) is to forfeit one's pride,

and 'pride comes before destruction'. Prov. 16:18


So, many shy away.

And the world is full of lies and hypocrisies and falls pride.

"Santan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat, but I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren." Luke 22:31-32

Can Anyone Love Like Jesus?

Ro and Mo:

Almost all preachers will say that it is impossible to love and be like Jesus and, some will even state that it would be blasphemous to be like Jesus. The scribes and the Pharisees and many people accused Jesus of blasphemy when He did like God, and crucified Him.

If anyone truly believes that Jesus is God, as we believe, then Yes anyone can love God like Jesus. Jesus loved others, and so He loved the Father and was the express image of God.

Why do we believe that anyone can love like God (Jesus)?

Now when He saw the crowds, He went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to Him, and He began to teach them, saying:

“Blessed are the poor in spirit,

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are those who mourn,

for they will be comforted.

Blessed are the meek,

for they will inherit the earth.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for RIGHTEOUSNESS,

for they will be filled.

Blessed are the merciful,

for they will be shown mercy.

Blessed are the PURE in heart,

for they will see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers,

for they will be called SONS of God.

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

He spoke to very ordinary people, and His disciples were fishermen, not the educated and well to of the world. And He also said to them:

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be SONS of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?

Be PERFECT, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. JC. Matt.5:43-48

“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is EASY and My burden is LIGHT.” JC. Matt.11:28-30

Now, if you believe that Jesus is God, then would you believe that he mislead the multitudes and His disciples? And why would He say to them to be PERFECT like His Father if He knew that they were unable to be perfect, being God and knowing all things?

Jesus set us an example to Follow, because He knew we are able to do so if we WANTED to, and ASK in His name for courage and strength to do so. So that His eye will guide us.

In the world people want and tend to follow men and women who have glory in the world, but there is no glory in following Jesus in the world. However, the world is passing away, but His words will never pass away, for they are Life. "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life." "I do not seek glory from men." "Come Follow Me." JC.

How do we know that God was speaking of an individual male and female being made in Gods' image? 

Isn't it possible that God is a composite of both male and female, thus making each male and female a composite of what God is? And that doesn't mean the composite is gender?

You are absolutely right-God is male and female Spirit. i.e. Character.

No one knows what the image of God is. 


Ro and Mo:

"If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father." Jesus was and is the Express image of God. Not his body, but his spirit-Character, therefore any physical Man or Woman can love like Jesus. And we think, Mary Magdalene loved Jesus more than any of His disciples, and had more guts than all of them, that is why she was at his tomb while they were all hiding.

When males and females look upon one another, each is seen as an individual gender. 
Desires of the flesh taint the window of spirituality; blurring the vision of spiritual things.

This is very true indeed!

The physical image could simply hide the spiritual meaning.

Yes.

Everything in nature has a spiritual meaning behind its physical appearance. It's like wiping the fog off of a window and seeing things clearly.

As the desires of the flesh lesson the clarity of spiritual things become clearer and the composite of God within each of us is now seen.

Which is why I say - that an individual mate has nothing to do with coming to know "love" however, it can be manifested through an individual and the individual doesn't even have to be aware of what the other person is receiving.

Yes. Coming to know "love". i.e.. Jesus' Character. God!

In reference to this quote: "If you want to be perfect and have eternal life (Heaven), come follow Me." 

The soul and spirit never die, thus aren't they already eternal? 


Ro and Mo:


"But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day you eat of it, you shall SURELY DIE." Gen.2:17

God didn't lie to them. And Jesus came to save us from death.

So He said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life." 
"If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will LOSE it. But whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. But what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own SOUL? Or what will a man give in exchange for his Soul?" Matt.16:25-26

So according to Jesus, the soul is not eternal. Nothing is eternal unless God wants it to be eternal. And God says, Heaven and earth will pass away, but His Son remains. i.e. whoever is like Jesus. And Jesus said, "No one comes to the Father, except through Me."

No one can be with God unless he/she is like Jesus in Spirit-Character.

Hence "Come follow Me"

The way that, Jesus came to show - is within; however, what does that have to do with the physical body or gender? 


Ro and Mo:


Nothing. "It is the Spirit that lives, the body profits nothing." John 6:63 It is the Character who gives life, and the words that Jesus spoke are life, because those words express his Character.

A soul simply needs to come into knowledge of the way - which has nothing to do with gender. 


Ro and Mo:


Yes. The Way, the Truth, and the Life is the way Jesus lived.

Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?”

Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” John 6:28-29 Read John 6:29-70 



You may love someone forever, like God loves you forever, however, if whom you love does not love you, he/she will not be with you forever.

If we don't love God like He loves us, we can't be with God. And only God is eternal!

How can we know what happens when we commit suicide?

Ro and Mo:

We don't know how we came into life in the first place. Since we didn't give ourself life; if we did, we would know how to keep it; therefore our life is really in the hands of who gave it to us.

If evolution created us, then our demise is in the evolutionary process, and taking our own life is also evolution. And evolution is just happenstance, and you and I are just a coincidence in a billion things occurring biochemically.

However, if we were created by someone, a greater consciousness than our own, then it seems that we are GIVEN consciousness, and are free to do whatever we want to do with it.

And if it is truly free, taking our own life is to say, 'thank you but, no thank you.

And since none of us asked for our life, it is up to us to taste life and reject it if we don't like it.

If you offer some money to a friend who is broke, and he doesn't accept it, will you hate him or her?

How will you feel, if you really offered in good faith?

You will be sad perhaps, but you will respect his or her decision, for he or she has his or her pride to consider.

So it is written, "Pride comes before destruction." And "Ask, and it shall be given."

But many in their 'self-importance' (Ego) think they can 'earn' their life. Like we all have to earn a living.

Life is given free, and we are free to accept or not to accept it. Whether we take our own life or not, we all end up dead, so what matters is, what we die for; for our own life, or for the life of our life giver.

Jesus died for God, and went to God, and said,

"if you want to enter into life, sell all you have and take up your cross and follow Me."

"For whoever tries to save his (own) life will lose it, and he who losses his (own) life for My (God's) life will find it."

If we believe in a Life (Consciousness) Giver, lets call this Consciousness, The Great Consciousness, then only the Great Consciousness can take away Consciousness It gives. Therefore, even taking one's own life is one way the Great Consciousness takes away all consciousnesses, that It has given consciousness to on earth in physical form, for a very limited time, for whatever purpose It intended them for.

So it is also written. "He makes his Sun shine on the good and the bad."

But can we prove any of this? No.

But again, do you need to prove what you are conscious of, to another who may or may not have been given to know what you are given?

So it is written, "To whom much is given, much will be required."

Jesus also came on a suicide mission.

Jesus took the Twelve aside and told them,

“We are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written by the prophets about the Son of Man will be fulfilled. He will be delivered over to the Gentiles. They will mock him, insult him and spit on him; they will flog him and kill him.

On the third day he will rise again.” Luke 18:31-33
